Exciting news for families this summer! California SUN Bucks, also known as Summer-EBT, helps to provide more meals for kids when school’s out. If your child qualifies for free/reduced-price school meals or receives CalFresh, CalWORKs, or Medi-Cal, they’re automatically enrolled!

Children attending public school who haven’t qualified before may also be eligible for SUN Bucks. Simply request a school meal application or an alternative income form from your child’s school, complete and return it. The school will evaluate eligibility.
