Well, surviving the...surge...no covid, all vaxxed and running an air filtration system in the treatment room.

Well, all vaccinated here, but we are still observing masking and ventilation rules to ease folks minds.

You may be fine and dandy...but still having stress because of the pandemic - uncertainties. We have great coma-inducing massages, scalp and neck therapy, etc. I do mostly medical massage now, but there is nothing better than feeling like you can breathe and think again with release of neck and scalp knots. I also share my office with an acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and we have an Epsom salt soak center next door - Newport Float.

Hey it's the flu/cold season, and no, You should not get a massahe if sick. It can spread the cold around your head or chest and make for an even longer recovery!

Funny tingles in thumb or first 2 fingers...may be caused by thumbing the phone....I recommend massage to improve circulation and break up sticky bits clogging the median and radial nerve sheaths. For nighttime, skip the braces and instead try this:

Squeeze your cheeks, not your face....it made me laugh when I heard this in a yoga class. And it is so true! If you frown or twist through a task you are also likely to be holding your breath....and that makes me a very busy massage therapist as breath holding creates soreness.

Tips: squat down don't bend at the waist to w**d or plant. Use a small stool if squatting it too much for your knees. Male sure you warm up and stay hydrated! Muscles lacking water spasm and cramp.

OOOH the Flu! It's not the end of the world...you will get better. Should you get a massage when you have cold or flu? It is not recommended as it can distract your body from the healing process. But afterwards massage is a great solution to the post-viral blahs and aches. Stay healthy!
