A huge congratulations to the winners of Campamento! Team Green demonstrated outstanding teamwork, Community Heights showed incredible community spirit, and Promise Church brought enthusiasm and effort.

Special recognition goes to Isaiah Aguilar as Camper of the Week for his exceptional attitude and skill.

Campamento 2024 couldn’t have been possible without our dedicated staff who took the time from multiple churches and places to serve. We want to highlight our amazing rec team, our photographer, David & Jacky Gonzalez, Pastor Robert Purvey and our incredible partners Texas Baptist en Español, Criswell University, and DBU. Your hard work and commitment made this event unforgettable for everyone involved.

It’s never another Sunday after Campamento. We pray every team gets to share their experiences and journey together, bringing the lessons and memories back to their church, school, and community. May the impact of this week inspire and uplift everyone around them.

Reminiscing on the unforgettable memories from our campamento family night with our parents. The evening was filled with love, laughter, and great moments together.

A special thank you to Criswell University for the delicious paletas that added an extra touch of sweetness to our night.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You to lift up all our leaders, students, and staff at campamento. We ask for Your blessings over their everyday struggles, providing them with the strength and courage they need. We pray for their families and friends, asking that You watch over and protect them.

Guide each one of us through our personal challenges, and help us to lean on Your wisdom and grace. We ask for safe travels as everyone returns home, and for hearts that are open to applying the lessons learned here.

Lord, let these experiences create lasting change within us, reminding us that we are set apart by Your love and grace. May we continue to grow in faith and be a light in our communities. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.

Wrapping up an incredible week at campamento with our last rec day. From intense games to shared laughter, every moment has been unforgettable.

Grateful for the friendships and memories made that will last a lifetime.

This morning at campamento, we dedicated our hearts and time to a meaningful prayer walk. Walking together in faith, we shared moments of deep connection, reflection, and spiritual growth.

It was a powerful reminder of the strength and unity within our community, from all the churches to one together.

Spent the day learning & now we’re making memories with our kids during some much-needed downtime at campamento!

Nothing better than a post-service hangout with paletas and the final volleyball tournament match!

Jesus isn’t the only one calling, but He is worth following. The Lord desires for you to have friends and relationships that reflect Him.

If someone can’t pray for you, they have no place in your life. To follow Jesus, you need to let go of what you’re holding onto and leave everything behind.

It takes a decision to leave and the discipline to follow. Many voices will call you, but only Jesus is worth following.

Remember, you are called to follow Him.

Thank you to all the amazing Campamento students who stepped up to serve at Mission Cedarhill. Your hard work and dedication to serving the Lord and our community truly made a difference.

This morning, we had the opportunity to have a devotional with Fabian Ramirez, who shared 3 hints to successful communication with God:

1️⃣ Pray in Secret – Private communication with God is powerful and influential. Jesus teaches us to pray in a quiet place where we can connect deeply with God without distractions. (Matthew 6:5)

2️⃣ Listen More Than You Talk – It’s not the quantity of our words that matters, but the quality of our hearts. Take time to listen to God through His word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Allow His voice to guide and transform you. (Matthew 6:7)

3️⃣ Give God Control – The Lord’s Prayer captures the essence of surrendering to God’s will. “Your will be done” in every aspect of our lives. Trusting in His plan brings peace and purpose. (Matthew 6:9-11)

Let’s take these hints to heart and grow closer to God in our daily walk.

Tonight, Pastor Robert reminded us that we are blessed. Our past pain doesn’t disqualify our future promise, and our present troubles don’t mean it’s the end.

Even with problems, there is always a problem solver. Though our families may be flawed, we come from a heritage of overcomers.

Our parents and grandparents fought for us, and we’ve experienced more than many in a lifetime. Despite everything, we are blessed!

Our students had a blast at rec!

From non-stop games to endless laughter with friends, every moment was full of joy and excitement.

It was great to see them having so much fun and we can’t wait to see who wins on friday!

Love seeing every team come together to have fun and worship at camp.

The energy, the joy, and the shared moments of faith truly make moments like these unforgettable.

Worshipping with all our hearts and making Jesus a daily part of our lives fills each day with purpose and peace.
