Hi everyone! We have just sent out a batch of emails with personal history packets for all those who passed their civil service written exam prior to February 6, 2024. The next batch will be sent out at the end of the fiscal quarter. We are a small team so please be patient with us as we work diligently to process each applicant properly. We have 60+ steps to process for each and every applicant. Calling and emailing us constantly tends to slow down the process so please keep that in mind. IT'S NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐕
Today, we celebrate one of our very own- TAZ! He is currently a FEMA-Certified Search Dog but was originally found wandering the streets of San Antonio.
Lieutenant Holm and Taz have been a team for five years on the Texas Task Force 1, which gets deployed to hurricanes, tornadoes, and other disasters. Taz finds live victims, while some of his furry friends locate the deceased. We currently have four cadaver dogs in Maui, which have been there for two weeks.
Taz enjoys fetch, frisbee, and running with the recruits at the academy! Want to join DR and Taz for a run? We're HIRING!
