Update to the 2024 ROAR On Road Electric Paved Nationals hosted by RC located in Dale Tx.

As an exhibition class, 1/8 openE has been added. Registrations are open at roarracing.com.

ROAR Region 2 is calling in reinforcements. There is still time to get registered at www.roarracing.com for these off-road National events being held at Coastal RC. Indoor Speedway and Hobbies and GSRC Greater Shippensburg RC.

Indoor Speedway and Hobbies are hosting Electric Offroad 10th Scale Carpet Nationals and they are giving us a great deal on our banners for our national. 100% of the money GSRC would receive from ROAR will go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Anyone registered for 3 classes in ROAR Electric Off-Road 1/8th Scale & 4wd SCT Nationals held here at GSRC will receive a customized event license plate (Example Zach Wright). Every racer will receive some type of memorabilia. Brunch'n Yum will be providing 1 free meal during the Nationals at GSRC, and have food for sale all week (details to be released soon). 997 RC Raceway will be onsite to sell rc related items. JConcepts Inc, Tekno RC, Absolute Hobbyz, Team Associated Reedy Racing, Team Losi Racing, Horizon Hobby, Team Trinity, Madboxx Designs, Race Ready Products, USRC Championship Promotions, Dog Days RC,MLToys Performance Ride-On Parts and VP Racing Fuels are all on board as sponsors for the National. We need to keep the 4wdSCT and Mini Truggy class alive in ROAR so for anyone that sign up for both of those classes, you will be able to race those vehicle for free at any GSRC race event (excluding the National). Implementation of a LCQ - Winner transfer into final
Adjustments will be made to current semi transfers process in setting championship field. LCQ will run after the 15u and before finals intermission.

Change in wording related to track maintenance and water schedules to fit needs of the track and race director.

Update on ROAR motor approval process to align more with ifmar and other federations for unity. Disallowing use of epoxy in manufacturing. Discussion of rule compliance date and manufactures that have currently approved motors.

Website update: Hiring of new webmaster to move forward with updating website for better membership information, signup and access to membership ID numbers, 1st priority!

Better way to sign up for nationals events that automatically check membership eligibility, race information, compliance with rule structure related to eligibility and limitations.

Nationals race fee: proposal
Entry fee has remained the same since 2016, it’s time for an adjustment. This increase will also see a per entry flat rate paid to host tracks, this is on top of facilities rental payments to host tracks. Yes, the tracks are getting more money.

Registrations for the 2024 ROAR On-Road Paved 10th scale nationals will open on Wednesday July 10th at 8pm Est. This years host track N-CONTROL Racing Group located in Dale Tx, is excited and ready to crown this years champions.

It’s almost time for 2024 ROAR 8th Scale Off-Road Electric nationals hosted by GSRC Greater Shippensburg RC in Shippensburg Pennsylvania on August 29th-Sept 1st.

We are right at 60 days away and registrations are open online and take advantage of the early pay discounts that expire on August 19th.

Pit setup Tuesday August 27th from 2pm-7pm

Track open practice Wednesday August 28th from 11am to 7pm. Practice fee $25 pages directly to the track. ( first 50 racers to sign up for 3 classes receive free practice)

ROAR schedule will be posted closer to the event.

GSRC is preparing a racers program for the event, to have your profile and pictures added to the program you will need to be registered on the ROAR website by the July 15th.

I will be sugaring the track and treating it with vp stay wet, fabric softener, peat moss and glue.
Tire compound recommendations, medium to soft long wear. ( please like and follow their page for more updates on track surface )

Online registration is still open for the 2024 ROAR Off-Road Carpet Nationals hosted by Coastal RC in Chesapeake, Virginia on August 15th through August 18th. Remember to register early as classes must have a 5 entry minimum set before the July 15th cut off date.

Coastal has partnered with Proline Racing for the spec tire at this years event. 2wd 17.5 and 4wd 13.5 spec classes will use the Harpoon in a CR4 compound.

Tires must be purchased from Coastal with special event markings on tires. Sorry no racer stock allowed.

Pit setup on August 13th from noon until 7pm.
Track open practice on August 14th.
Practice fee per racer of $15 paid to the track.
Doors open at 9am
On track Practice by 5 min sessions at 10am
Track closes at 8pm
Doors close at 8:45pm

August 15th-18th schedule coming soon.

Entry forms for the 2024 IFMAR 1/10th IC track worlds will be send out this weekend.
The dates are November 14-24th including the IPD days for the drivers that have not raced at the track this year.
Everybody interested should contact your bloc, so you can enter the event.
We expect a lot of drivers from South America at this event
It will not be full, but due to the controlled tires and fuel we need to have the majority of drivers registrated before August 10th.
The tires will be delivered by Hot Race and the fuel is Energy
Elite RC Productions will be streaming the event.

For those who want to run Fuel 25% it is important to contact the organizer in time
The Organizer needs to know the fuel selection of everyone a.s.a.p. and before the end of June.
The various Fuel manufacturers require that in order to produce and to be on time for the event.
Most of the European drivers already have made their choices, but we are still missing drivers from the other blocs.

All fuels 25% must be purchased on track, due to legal rules of the government of Spain and stored by the organizer

Merlin Fuel
Nitrolux
Energy Fuel
Shoot Fuel
Hot Fire
If you not order your fuel with the organizer in time there is a risk that there is no fuel for you available
The price per can of fuel is 60 euro
All cans with fuel need to be impounded at technical inspection at the end of each day
For storage of the fuel and the legal implementation with the Spanish authorities there is a one time fee of 30 euro for the whole week per driver.

1/8 Fuel On road bodies. Bodies must be approved and manufacturers affiliate status also must be active for bodies use at National events. For 2025 race calendar schedule, all bodies must be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the event for approval

All ROAR affiliate manufactures, your affiliate status must remain active to keep products on approval list. Currently admin officials are reviewing expired affiliates and will be reaching out to you for renewal.
