The MISSABE Railroad Historical Society (MRHS) is a group of railfans, modelers and rail historians who have banded together for the express purpose of sharing a common interest in the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range Railway, and its predecessors.

Long time MRHS member Bud Bulgrin, who passed away in August 2021, had DM&IR caboose C-25 and the bell off of Yellowstone 228. His widow is selling both, asking $9,000 for the caboose and $3,000 for the bell (purchasers have to move them from Bud's home in the Twin Cities). Attached are images of the caboose and bell (interior caboose images are available for those seriously interested). Bud's good friend Steve Glischinski is helping sell the items and if interested please contact him at [email protected]

The 2023 Missabe Railroad Historical Society fundraising calendar campaign has started with the order form now available on the web site. The calendar features an image of the Missabe’s RDC car at Endion in 1959. Please consider supporting the MRHS through purchase of either a large or small calendar. Order deadline is November 28.
