We have just completed the random drawing of numbers for the Super Bowl Squares grid. To check your assigned numbers, head over to https://eastprovidencelions.com/superbowl.
Remember, the numbers on the grid represent the last digit of each team's score at the end of each quarter. So keep your eyes on the game and cheer for those winning digits!
Good luck to everyone! π
ππ° Super Bowl LVIII is just around the corner and the East Providence Lions Club is hosting its annual Super Bowl Squares fundraiser!
For just $20 per square, you can have a chance to win up to $1,000 in cash prizes. Best of all, your participation will help support the Lions Club's charitable service projects in our community.
How it works:
1οΈβ£ Purchase one or more squares.
2οΈβ£ Once all squares are sold, we'll randomly assign numbers to each row and column.
3οΈβ£ As the game progresses, the numbers on your square correspond to the last digit of the score.
4οΈβ£ If your square matches the score at the end of a quarter or the game, youβre a winner! π°
Visit https://eastprovidencelions.com/superbowl/ to choose your squares. And don't forget to share this post with your friends and family!
Thank you for your support and good luck! π

To all of our friends and families, may you have a wonderful day and continue to appreciate the many blessings that we enjoy.
The East Providence Lions recently had the honor of hosting guest speaker Carl Sweeney Jr. representing Hope and Faith Drive, LLC. Based in East Providence, Hope and Faith Drive is a non profit organization which has helped numerous families in the community with donations of food, clothing, and general acts of good will (including kindness bags to nursing staffs during the pandemic). Lions members in attendance also donated canned goods in support of Carl's continuing efforts. Pictured here with Carl are club past presidents Carol Wood and Henry Caparco. Well done, Carl, and thank you for everything that you do!
The East Providence Lions recently participated in the Tiverton Lions 25th annual Everett J. Platt Memorial Charity Golf Tournament. Mutual support among clubs is always encouraged and appreciated! Participants included Lions Dick Wood, Dick Primmer, Mike Arruda, and Mike's nephew Austin.
The 2021-2022 Lion of the year Award was shared by Mike Arruda and Dave Kent. President Wendy Wood Hubbard was pleased to present their awards in recognition of their outstanding service to the club.

On June 8th, 2022 the East Providence Lions were pleased to welcome new member Gino Mazzenga and to recognize Fred Nowosielski for his 30 years of dedicated service to the club. A hearty welcome aboard to Gino and a huge thank you to Fred - congratulations to both!
In addition to being a longtime (30+ years) member of the East Providence Lions Club, Richard Rocheleau has also been deeply involved for that time in his volunteer activities with Special Olympics of Rhode Island. He will be stepping down this year as the SORI Summer Games director after serving in that capacity for almost 20 of those years. Richard has also served in every leadership capacity in his tenure with the Lions, and his efforts exemplify the volunteer spirit and dedication which has enhanced the lives of many. Thank you and congratulations, Richard!
From our club to all of the wonderful Moms out there, past and present.
Membership is the lifeblood of any organization, and the East Providence Lions Club is very pleased and proud to admit new members Dani Petsch and Eric Pereira.
