This week we get to show off the amazing Emily Tovar! Emily is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who is El Paso born and raised! She received her Bachelors in Kinesiology from OLLU and has been with us at Actioncare since July 2022! Emily’s fun fact about herself is that she loves having game nights with her family and friends! 😁

Melissa is a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who received her M.S. in Communicative Disorders from ENMU and a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science from ASU. She’s been at ActionCare since December 2021! She enjoys going to the gym, and spending time with her family and friends.

Brianna is a Speech-Language Pathologist who received her M.S. in Communication Disorders from Misericordia University all the way in Pennsylvania. She’s been with us at Action Care since August 2021 when she moved from Steeler’s country (Pittsburgh) to El Paso for her husband’s job with the Army. She loves working with your kiddos each and every day.

Feature Friday! Today we’re showing off the amazing Physical Therapist Assistant Cristina Enriquez! 👏🏻

Cristina has been a PTA with ActionCare for 2 years and she graduated from El Paso Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant!

Cristina is also currently partnered with Freedom Concepts to find the perfect bike to accommodate the needs of patients living with limited mobility and allow them to experience recreation, fun, exercise, and freedom!

Keep being amazing, Cristina! ✨

Occupational therapists provide treatment to injured or disabled patients and they also work with children who have special needs or need help in acquiring certain skills.

International Stuttering Awareness Day is right around the corner on October 22nd, and we hope that you will join us in spreading awareness, and then let us know how you got the word out in your community!
