Your emotions are God given. So are your children’s. Your task is to teach them to express them in healthy ways, both good emotions and what we consider bad ones, which aren’t really bad at all. It’s the expression that taints them positively or negatively. As evidence, God never corrects our emotions in His Word. What He does correct is the way we express those emotions. He tells us, for example, to, “Be angry, and do not sin” (Psalm 4:4; Ephesians 4:26).❤️🌻
I have reached 600 followers! Thank you for your continued support. I could not have done it without each of you. 🙏🤗🎉

Today is World Maternal Mental Health Day which aims to raise awareness of maternal mental health issues so that more pregnant and postpartum parents will get treatment and fewer will suffer in silence.
Why We Need World Maternal Mental Health Day?
In many countries, as many as 1 in 5 new mothers experience some type of perinatal mental health disorder.
These illnesses frequently go unnoticed and untreated, often with tragic and long-term consequences to both mother and child.
World Maternal Mental Health Day aims to:
Raise awareness
Influence policy
Change attitudes
This year’s theme: Supporting women worldwide on our journey through maternal mental healthcare.
❤️
Mental Health Awareness Month is an important reminder to check in with ourselves & loved ones. Good mental health can help you cope with stress & improve your quality of life. You are not alone. ❤️
Emotions can be exacerbated during the holidays because the normal family activities have given way to parties, gift giving and other celebrations. It’s okay to set boundaries with holiday events, tune into your grief emotions, plan ahead to fill empty holiday roles, honor old traditions while honoring memories, create new traditions, identify grief coping skills, volunteer or do something charitable and ask for help when struggling with grief. ❤️
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Did you know that one in four pregnancies end in the loss of a baby? This Can be such an intense cause of grief. Not surprisingly, parents may find it difficult to process the loss of a child, no matter the circumstance or the age of the child. Others may not understand the emotional and physical impacts. We walk beside families as they navigate their grief and find healthy ways to integrate their loss into their lives. ❤️
A person can have many different feelings in a day. You can be happy, angry and sad all in one moment. It’s important to talk through the negative emotions and not suppress them to the negative affects on you emotionally and physically.
When we are constantly invalidated in our feelings, we start invalidating ourselves. That can put us in a lonely place. All the unprocessed emotions can leave us overwhelmed when we don’t have that emotional support. I want you to know that you are not alone. ❤️
You deserve to heal! ❤️
Want to learn ways to be your best possible self? We can’t do anything about the past but we can make strives in the present and future. I would love the opportunity to walk beside you on your journey. ❤️
Mental illness stigma has long been an issue, with those experiencing signs and symptoms being viewed as weak or lazy. In some ways, society as a whole now has a better sensitivity to this type of illness but there are still lingering issues. You are not alone. We are here to walk beside you on your journey ❤️
