KA took home Top GPA Award for the Spring and Fall 2018 semesters as well as the Award of Excellence at the Order of Omega Honor Society Award Banquet. Our very own was also named Greek Outstanding Sophomore!
Congratulations to Jonathan Holmes on being put on scholarship! There is no other person who is more deserving of this. All of us at KA have seen first hand the amount of work you put into improving your game and the dedication you show to your team. Always representing KA well on and off the court.
WE STAND UP: Harvard has imposed a policy that punishes students for simply belonging to a single-sex organization like Kappa Alpha Order. Students have the right to shape their own futures—it’s time to stand up to Harvard! Today, KA stands in support of the group of sororities, fraternities and students who filed lawsuits today challenging Harvard. Take a stand with us at www.standuptoharvard.org.
A few shots from Car Smash this afternoon. It was an incredible event that we can’t wait to host again next year. Thank you to all that attended or donated, we could not do it without you, and Taylor and his family are very grateful!

PC18, welcome home. #55
Last night at the C3 Kickoff two of our members had the privilege of sharing their testimony with roughly 2,500 of their fellow students. Reed and Jon continue to grow in their walk with Christ and are leading others to him as well. We couldn’t be more proud of these two guys!

Congratulations to our chapters that placed 1st in grades for each of our four councils this spring. Greek life at the University of Arkansas continues to improve and excel in the classroom! Did you know that over 77% of our Greek students have over a 3.0 gpa? Our council presidents averaged a 3.4 gpa, while chapter presidents anywhere between a 3.0-3.55 gpa from the four councils. IFC’s executive board had the highest gpa for the spring semester, with five of our nine exec members achieving 4.0s! Collectively, Greek women averaged a 3.47, Greek men averaged a 3.1, and our all Greek average is a 3.34! We are so proud of everyone for helping contribute to this achievement and we look forward to building on this success for years to come!
Two of our incoming sophomores, Ben Moore and Jack Garcia, traveled to Lexington, Virginia for the Emerging Leaders Academy this past weekend. The annual convention put on by our national office allowed them to see where it all began back in 1865 and meet fellow KA’s from universities across the nation. They also gained some insight on what it takes to lead our chapter and how to ensure we continue to improve.

Registration for Fall 2018 Recruitment is now open! Please encourage new U of A students to register for rush and reach out to any KA for more information about our chapter.
Alumni: don’t forget to submit recommendations through the KA website for men going through rush this fall!
Update: This chapter GPA is largely due to FIFTY-ONE members obtaining a 4.0 last semester. That is just shy of 1/4 of our chapter.
For the third time in the past four semesters the men of KA have claimed top grades amongst fraternities on campus. Posting a 3.367 chapter average this go around, we could not be more proud of all our members hard work.

The accolades continue to roll in for our very own Tristan Locke. Our former treasurer has already been recognized as a Razorback Classic and will be graduating with a double major in Finance & Accounting, but to top it all off he has recently been selected as the Walton College of Business commencement speaker!
KA is making a huge impact in the Associated Student Government. We now have an executive member in every branch and two executive cabinet members! Pictured left to right is the ASG Secretary, Chair of Senate, Chief Justice, Director of Data Analytics, and Director of Philanthropy. We are incredibly proud of these men as they work to lead our campus to new heights.
Congratulations to the 22 newly initiated members of the Spring 2018 pledge class!
The men of Kappa Alpha Order would like to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. We and the rest of uark ifc and uark panhellenic were tremendously blessed to have the opportunity to provide a few deserving families with their Thanksgiving groceries earlier this week. Such an amazing experience that we hope to continue every year
