Some of the world's most renowned chefs, together with philanthropic patrons, are changing the way money is raised for worthwhile causes. Foodie Philanthropy takes the basic idea of a dinner gala and has created something unique all on its own. Partnering with local restaurants, founder Michael Crain, enlists them to do what they do best by serving a fabulous meal in their own space. Some of the best-known personalities serve as hosts of a table and invite 9 of their friends for a night of enjoyment and giving back. Directly after dinner all guests and hosts are invited to an incredible after-party to further connect and mingle about the amazing dinner they just experienced. To date, the event has raised over $700,000 for worthwhile causes.
