Tomorrow, August 22nd our new volleyball team will practice from 3:45-5:15p and football will practice 4:00-5:30p. Individual practices and game schedules will be communicated soon. Let's go HAWKS!

The Athenaeum After-School Program is off to a great start this school year! The program has been full of welcoming scholars back with activities based on procedures and ice breakers to help students and teachers get to know each other. Scholars have also participated in crafts and games based on friendship, the virtue of the month.
In September, scholars will get to explore a plethora of subjects and engaging activities based on COLOR such as Gelett Burgess’ poem “The Purple Cow” and the Viking known as “Erik the Red.”

🌟Upper School House Day Recap! 🌟

What better way to end the first week of school than with some friendly competition? Today the Upper School wrapped up the week with an exciting dodgeball game.
What a fantastic way to end the first week of school! Our students showed incredible house spirit and teamwork. It was definitely a day to remember!

🏐🏈 Day 2 of Volleyball and Football Tryouts Complete! 🏐🏈

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our volleyball and football tryouts! The hard work and dedication displayed by our scholars was astonishing. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and gave their best effort. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to see our athletes shine!

In celebration of the 1st week of school, we will have our first Spirit Day tomorrow, Friday, August 16th! Students may wear jeans with a school shirt, house shirt or school spirit shirt. No rips, holes, or tears in jeans. Our official jeans spirit days will be the first Friday of each month beginning on Friday, September 6th.

We've had an amazing second day at Great Hearts Prairie View! The excitement continues as scholars and faculty settle into their routines. Classrooms were buzzing with energy, and it was wonderful to see everyone engaged and enthusiastic about learning.

Football tryouts will be held on August 14th 4-5:30p for 6th & 7th grade and August 15th 4-5:30p for 8th & 9th grade. Physical forms should be turned into the front desk by August 13th. Scholars must have physical form turned in prior to walking into tryouts. No exceptions.

Football athletes need to be in athletic clothes, cleats if you have them or athletic shoes.

GAMES WILL BE FRIDAYS AND/OR SATURDAYS!
