Happy National Assistant Principal and April Fools Day!

Time flies! We are astonished that it is already April 1st, 2024. We have been up to some amazing things, and we would like to share some information about Each 1 Teach 1, Inc. and our recent activities and programs.

Throughout March, we had the privilege of serving 785 youth across various programs, including before, in-school, after-school programs, and special events. Notably, March marked Social Emotional Awareness Month, and on March 8, 2024, Each 1 Teach 1, Inc. hosted its first SEL Day at a local elementary school. We transformed the media center at Monocacy Elementary School into an oasis of learning, emphasizing the calming effects of yoga on both mind and body. Students from all grades had the opportunity to participate in mindful yoga practices and explore various relaxation and awareness techniques.
Below are some of the feedback responses we received from the teachers on this amazing day:

"I loved the entire program! It was engaging for students, and they had a variety of options to choose from."

"Most of the kids always like yoga, and the teachers did a great job with the little ones."

"The positivity of the instructor was uplifting."

"Numerous strategies were provided to students to regulate their emotions and calm themselves."

"I loved having the time for students to learn more about mindfulness and calming skills through yoga."

"I really liked that we started the day with it and the yoga circle; I think that gave students strategies to help them."

"It was an opportunity for my son to learn self-soothing strategies."

"The kids were very engaged and took the yoga practice seriously! I loved how the adults were doing it with them."

"I liked that it was something different, and we were able to work with our SPARK buddies."
