ADL Contributes to the Whole-of-Society Approach
To support the National Strategy’s whole-of-society call to action, the White House announced commitments from organizations across the private sector, civil society, religious and multi-faith communities, and higher education to counter antisemitism and build cross-community solidarity. ADL is delivering on our promises made alongside the National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism.
ADL is strengthening cross-community engagements with local United We Stand convenings to build understanding among diverse partners. We are fighting antisemitism in K-12 schools and on college and university campuses and supporting Jewish Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in the government and private sector. In addition, ADL joined with the Interparliamentary Task Force to Combat Online Antisemitism to address the challenges and opportunities presented by AI and other new technologies. In November 2023, ADL and the Interparliamentary Task Force convened global parliamentarians and legislators, special envoys, White House officials, and technology company executives to discuss steps the companies must take to ensure AI and Generative AI tools do not contribute to the proliferation of online antisemitism and hate.

Watch this film at your leisure on Kanopy, then join us for a discussion on Zoom.
This quirky and wry comedy follows three Jewish Israeli siblings - Dorona and brothers Netanel and Shai - who, in the wake of their mother's death, learn the man who raised them is not their biological dad. The revelation sends them on a road trip from Israel across France to discover the truth about their real father. The sixth feature from writer-director Shemi Zarhin explores an unraveling family secret and the bittersweet journey of self-discovery that follows.

Moshe and Mali Bellanga are an impoverished, childless, Hasidic baalei teshuva ("returnees to Judaism") couple in the Breslov community in Jerusalem. They receive an unexpected monetary gift on the eve of the holiday and Moshe buys the etrog for 1000 shekels, a large sum of money that is much more than he can afford. The couple is visited by a pair of escaped convicts, one of whom knew Moshe in his earlier, non-religious life. The convicts become their guests (ushpizin) in the sukkah, creating many conflicts and straining Moshe and Mali's relationship.
