Every Neighborhood Partnership

The primary purpose was to provide an outlet where the students at these schools could interact with positive role models during the weekend. It also provided an opportunity for volunteers from these churches to build relationships with the students. As volunteers spent more time in these communities they became aware of two specific issues. First, the test scores of the students were consistently

Fresno Drive Tour // presented by Every Neighborhood Partnership
Last year, volunteers invested 28,938 hours in Fresno schools and neighborhoods through ENP’s School Support and Neighborhood Development programs. These hours are equal to almost $1,000,000 of volunteer hours poured into the city of Fresno!
We cannot do what we do without volunteers! Visit our website to serve our city by volunteering with one of ENP’s programs.
Many of Every Neighborhood Partnership's programs, specifically Saturday Sports and literacy support, thrive because of our college student volunteers and workers!

When Angelica encouraged her mom to attend an ENP Dance Fitness class in her apartment complex, she had no idea the personal journey it would take her on.
Coming out of COVID-19, Angelica and her family tried to keep their mother safe due to her health conditions, and so when things started to open back up, Angelica knew that dance fitness was a great first step for her mom and agreed to go with her as a support.
As Angelica began to attend Dance Fitness and the women’s classes, she couldn’t help but notice a thread - “Positive Encouragement,” she says, for the women to learn about mental health resources and ways to care for their mind and body, instead of just surviving.
She soon found herself becoming more passionate about equitable resources for women like her mom. So when the job opened up as the Health and Wellness Assistant, Angelica was the next best step for ENP! We are grateful to have her on the team! 💙

"Gardens have been the strongest tool that I have found so far to [cultivate] community building in an [area] that has difficulty trusting their neighbors."🌱
~ Chris DeLeon
"Latinos in Fresno County experience significant educational and wage disparities compared to their peers of other racial and ethnic groups. Given their high propensity to work and significant contributions to the county’s population growth over the last two decades, the need to improve Latino well-being in Fresno County will only continue to grow". ~ Latino Data Hub
What does this mean? As Fresno Latinos are equipped to make positive changes in their own neighborhoods, our city will see radical transformation. This is why ENP is working with our staff and partners to develop programs, like our Community Land Use Academy (CLUA), in Spanish.
“Now that I am in this program, [CLUA Para Nosotros] I know exactly what the process is that I have to follow to guide other leaders so they can advocate for the development of our communities.” says Juana Iris Meza.
Juana has now helped lead others through CLUA Para Nosotros as a teacher and mentor!
