Our Senior Angel Tree is ready and we have a few angels needing to be adopted! If you would like to purchase a gift for a local senior citizen in need, let us know! You can come by our office (Room 221 in the Etowah County Courthouse), call us @ 256-549-8147, or message us here. Observed the first Monday in September, Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. The holiday is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.
Have a restful Labor Day!
Mark your calendars and start boxing up all your stuff! Notice this year the time is 9 - 1 (not 10 - 2). And don't worry about missing a game, Alabama and JSU don't play and Auburn plays Mississippi State (easy peasy!)
