We started our breakfast with caramelized peach pound cake and finished it with a Sausage and Cheese Omelette with Parmesan sprinkles and fresh tomatoes 🍅

When it comes to cookies today we r visiting Greece in my mind in honor of some of our guests this weekend! These do come with a disclaimer- I’ve never made them before and I certainly cannot pronounce them without butchering the name but on the bright side I did eat one and I have lived to tell about it - so I have that going for me- which is nice 😆

Today was guests choice- scrambled or over easy, bacon brat sausage or chicken with feta and spinach sausage and grilled English Muffin. People often ask me how I get my eggs so fluffy and I tell them all the same thing- only my hairdresser knows for sure 😆

We were blessed to have some folks join us who hail from Zimbabwe. So of course I took it upon myself to make a Zimbabwe cookie flag 😆I am quite proud of my free hand Zimbabwe 🐦 😆. I cannot ever offer you perfection but I will always offer you effort 😂.

Today is Juneteenth. I think the true meaning of this holiday is sometimes lost. Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States!! As you go through your day I hope it crosses your mind what a truly great country we live in and that it’s important to remember history. If we don’t we are destined to repeat it.
