Ashley is originally from San Luis, Arizona and is currently about to complete her last year as an undergrad before she transitions to be a full-time MGM student.

Ashley chose Thunderbird because she wanted to deepen her understanding of different cultures and learn about business through a global lens ๐Ÿ‘“.

Prior to applying she did not know the high prestige the Thunderbird name held. After her first semester, she knew that she was in the right place not only because of the rich history of Thunderbird but because of the amazing faculty and students.

One piece of advice?
My dad has always said, โ€œUn dia bueno vale mas que todo los malos.โ€ In English, it translates to one good day overpowers all the bad days โ˜€๏ธ. I stand by this quote, it is true we work hard and some days it feels impossible, but that good day will come, and it will feel like those bad days never existed.

Style is currently a junior at Thunderbird and is the president of PHI BETA SIGMA Fraternity Incorporated.

He switched his major from Nonprofit Leadership and Management to Global Management. He made the decision based on his desire to make a difference, experience life and travel. Thunderbird School of Global Management checked all the boxes for everything that he was looking for ๐Ÿ™Œ. It truly felt like Godโ€™s plan.

In Thunderbird he has learned how risk management and preparation impacts businesses and decision making. He has also implemented this concept in his life. Now he analyzes certain things more and thinks โ€œhow will this affect me and others around me?โ€

Advice?
Get involved! 8/10 times a conversation you have will lead to another opportunity or open a door for you, especially within Thunderbird because the people you meet here are from different states or countries and have different backgrounds. If you get involved and you get connected with Thunderbirds, you will have a community for the rest of your life ๐ŸŒŽ.
