It’s time for back to school and Together Gloucester, Inc. is helping our middle school community with essential supplies.

67% of girls get their period at school and we wanted our students to have just what they need on hand in the nurse’s office.

Thanks to the generosity of our local community we are able to purchase items when a need is identified.

It's National Nonprofit Day, your chance to applaud those who are doing amazing things in your community.

Founded by author and speaker Sherita J. Herring in 2017, National Nonprofit Day brings attention to the importance of nonprofit organizations, and all of the vital services they provide. From community food banks and affordable housing, to legal services and education, nonprofit organizations provide an incredibly large variety of necessary help that would otherwise be unmet by corporations and governmental agencies.

There are 1.5 million nonprofit organizations in the United States, with over 64 million volunteers helping to keep these organizations running. That means that about 25% of people in the United States do some kind of volunteer work each year.

The easiest way to help a nonprofit is to make a donation to them.

Please consider Together Gloucester Inc. our Venmo information is below.

Update: We were able to provide clothing and other essentials needed today because of the generosity of some community members. Thank you ❤️

There is a woman in the community who left a DV situation and needs support. Local organizations are engaged and she is safe and getting help. She doesn’t have any clothes and we are helping to urgently source some plus 3x clothes in good condition. Just plain basic leggings and tops are preferred. If you can help, please message us.
