Today marks the beginning of Month. As a service - as a family - we've been through a lot recently. From civil unrest, and a global pandemic to stressful hurricane seasons and humanitarian efforts - you have ALL answered the call for the nation and the world. Although your resiliency is an example to all, let us not forget some things can take their toll. This is a reminder to take care of one another. Check on your shipmates, be compassionate, and ensure we all keep in mind su***de prevention matters every. single. day. - not just this month.
So as we continue to get the missions done, make sure we all take the time to check on our brothers and sisters. If needed, get them to the right resources. Each and every one of you are valued and important to our country, our service and our daily lives. We are a family.
