'Nowadays there are a lot of people about who think the art of boxing is a brutal one, and just at present this aspect of the sport is very much to the fore. To talk of boxing being brutal is all nonsense. There may be isolated instances, but you may take it from me the day of brute force has gone past in boxing, never to return. Who's going to win a round now is not a matter of mere muscle and sinews; there's got to be a head behind a man's fists, and brains in the head, too, if he means winning. Boxing is not a mechanical exercise like walking, it's a real fine art now, as I think anyone will admit who has ever seen a decent fight. You've got to be an artist at your work, and the bigger the artist you are the more decisive will be your success. If art did not come into the question it would be impossible to knock out a strong, well-trained man before he was tired out. You would have to just go on pe***ng away to see if you could out last him, and then boxing would degenerate. As matters stand, however, the progress of boxing as a science and as an art has been upwards all the time, not downwards, as anyone can see who studies the question.'

Cole Mosley, a sophomore at Glocester High School, is an exceptional individual both inside and outside the boxing ring. Not only does he possess remarkable punching power, but he also excels in three different sports. In football, Cole showcases his talent as a quarterback, while in basketball, he dominates as a point guard. Additionally, he exhibits his versatility in baseball as a catcher and third baseman.

Today was a truly remarkable day for Cole on the field. He participated in two games and showcased his outstanding skills, batting an incredible .500! Winning both games was the cherry on top of his stellar performance. Cole's ability to excel in multiple sports is truly admirable and deserves the utmost respect.

'People wonder how I can be so nice to people who are not nice to me. Why be nasty? We're just passing through here. One day it's going to be my turn and l'll be gone. If can make somebody happy, that's a nice feeling. I like fighting. I love what boxing does for me. This is the first time in my life I was ever something. I like to make people happy and I like to be happy myself.'
