The Lanesville Community Center was founded in 1954 as a gathering place for the residents of Lanesville, and remains a prized possession of the community.
The Lanesville Community Center (LCC) was founded in 1954 as a gathering place for Lanesville residents and the greater Gloucester and Cape Ann community. Managed by a volunteer board of directors, it is available to use for both public (free) and private (modest fee) events.

Ward 4 City Councilor Frank Margiotta is hosting an informational meeting on MBTA zoning, where the current status of identifying potential districts in Gloucester, including in Lanesville, will be described.
