There wasn't much wind so we just all hung around together and then played some "walk the boat"

You may have seen our sailors around town putting in hard work canvassing for silent auction items for our upcoming fundraiser. We hope you can attend! The ticket includes food, so leave the dinner plans to us and help raise funds for our continuing programming costs. And you may just walk away with a great auction item from a local business. We all went out sailing and we all came back in(plus AJ) on a beautiful summer's day. Teamwork saved the blue boat .Thanks to all who stayed to help!

We top off a spectacular season with trip to Boston for the B Division Finals, grudging the title in the final tiebreaker to Nantasket.

Following a grueling (though successful0 weekend on the Road, the team turns out to play in the breeze.
A trip to Courageous Sailing Center in Boston to take on Boston-Latin and Broolkline. Although we did not prevail with B-L, we did dispatch Brookline and our JV did win a match with the B-L JV
We travel to Natick for the Donald Greene Regatta on Lake Cochicuate tomorrow
Many thanks to Chris, Tyler and the crew at Brown's Yacht Yard for mending our wounded duckling, restoring her to the fold ON SCHEDULE for our only home meet of the 2024 season. Unfortunately ,our opponents were not; Concord cancelled.
Sail GHS travels to Winthrop to prolong our undefeated streak,winning 5 to 2
Sail GHS goes to Beverly's house and comes home a winner. ,remaining undefeated.
Sharon, BC High and Hingham fall to Sail GHS; 2-0, 2-0, 2-0.

Today we travelled to Mystic Lake in Wi******er. Under breathless conditions, we beat a talented young Belmont Hill team.
As yet undefeated, we will enjoy a hiatus until April 20 when we go to poke the bear in his lair in a Quad competition on Boston Harbor. We will be challenging Sharon, Hingham, and BC High School. (Hoping there's more wind...)
A 2 to2 tie with St. John's Prep. No one was giving this one up, but we had to be off the water at 5:30(?)
Off to Wi******er tomorrow, to take on Belmont Hill. It will be our first race this season in actual 420s, so we're looking forward to being back in our own boats.
We travel to Boston for Keelboat Kickoff in Rhodes 19s.

Fun zipping around in lively April breezes! We did 20 practice starts and 5 mini-races getting ready to take on St john's and Belmont hill next week. Stay tuned!
In a real nail-biter, we squeak by a tenacious Dover -Sherborn to win our season opener, 3 to 2
