Our SPED Dept. spent their Friday evening growing! They were fortunate enough to hear famed author and professor, Dr. Temple Grandin to speak at Presbyterian Collegeās 10th annual Charles Chadwell Special Education Institute. Dr. Grandin is one of the countryās most prominent animal behaviorists and champion for autism rights. Dr. Grandin spoke about how each mind thinks differently and teaching to peopleās strengths. It was a great event. Go Raiders!

We enjoyed celebrating our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year, Kathleen Johnson, and our First Class Teacher of the year, Kayla Layman. These two teachers are incredible representatives of the teaching profession and even better representatives of Greenville High. Thank you for impacting the lives of our students!

Greenville County Schools has made changes to the student dress code, which will go in effect beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. These changes were made to increase alignment in discipline and dress code practices between schools and to provide more consistency and clarity for parents and students. Greenville High Orchestra received the Outstanding Performance Award for the year from the SCMEA Orchestra Division. This is the highest honor a program can receive. Congratulations & Go Raiders!
Greenville Girls Track finished as UpperState Champs after the State Qualifier. The boys placed 2nd in UpperState. Both will compete at State this Saturday. Cara Grace Phillips set a new school record in 800 with 2:23.98.
