Children need to know they matter, that relationships are key to their healing, and that communities can respond to their needs.

Our Ambassadors lead the way! Ambassadors are representatives of Fostering Great Ideas to the greater community. Ambassadors learn about our work, the needs of children in foster care, and the multiple ways to respond.

Our Ambassador program is a dynamic way we engage individual volunteers, corporations, civic and faith-based partners, and state-wide changemakers.

To become an Ambassador, you will complete one or more activities in each area of Learn, Volunteer, and Connect

Every activity earns you Ambassador points, which you can redeem for swag or fun experiences along the way. Are You Ready to Begin?

It is the responsibility of every community to care for its most vulnerable! Spread the word about this amazing opportunity for neighbors to support neighbors.

ConnectingSC from A Home for Me and SC DSS!

The purpose is for DSS to be able to post needs of the children and families in the community and share those needs with people who want to help. Maybe your church, small group, work team, family, etc wants to commit to helping to meet the tangible needs to keep families together, help families reunite, or help children and youth thrive wherever they are.
