Animal-assisted therapy helps reduce psychological and physical stress. We feel very fortunate that our children can benefit from this opportunity on our campus. The therapy pets who visit ACH bring great joy, provide a calming presence and the children cherish time with them. Winston, Tater Tot, and Rayna, you are amazing!🐾

Throughout March, celebrate by going Beyond the Table!
23,157 healthy meals were provided by A Child's Haven last year! Our kitchen crew is dedicated to serving our children nutritious meals and introducing them to new foods. We grow much of our produce on campus such as tomatoes, spinach, strawberries, herbs, and much more - sharing it with the families we serve so they can use them for meals at home.

Development disabilities affect how a child develops and can impact both physical and mental growth. One in six children are diagnosed with at least one disability. This month we recognize the challenges children and families who are impacted experience. We hope to increase awareness that these challenges should not limit the involvement of individuals in our community!

This difference will be achieved not only in the treatment of our children and families, but also amongst our staff.
