PNW’s Model United Nation Team hosted a very productive simulation Wed. Sept 20 “The Situation in Afghanistan” practicing with teams from Valparaiso University and Prairie State College. Thank you to the Department of History, Philosophy, Politics, and Economics for pizza 🍕 after our simulation!!

Students are fired up to keep running simulations throughout the fall in the lead up to the American Model United Nations conference Nov 18-21, 2023 at the Chicago Grand Sheraton hotel. 🇺🇳 where PNW will sit on the Security Council as 🇲🇿 Mozambique

PLEN offers phenomenal 4 -day networking workshops in Washington DC with lawmakers and political professionals. Women and STEM policy? March 14-16, right when PNW is on Spring Break, an excellent time to go!! Women and Global Policy? May 22-26! 

PNW students like Paloma Castaneda Roza Tawil Kylie Smolar and many others have participated in these workshops before, and say it launched their careers in state government and law.

For the workshops, travel registration and lodging are often fully funded between the PLEN scholarship and PNW support. PNW women who are interested please email Dr. Rincker [email protected].
