The 2023 EARTH workshop will be held July 10-14, 2023 in Honolulu, HI, co-hosted by MBARI and the Pacific Islands Climate Adaptation Science Center!

The workshop will have about 20 teachers, and the organizers are hoping to have half of them from Hawaiʻi / the broader Pacific Islands! All application materials must be submitted by February 14, 2023 at 0800 PST.

The year of the Water Rabbit is upon us! Wishing all of our amazing educators a year of peace and prosperity ☮️

2023 is the Year of the Rabbit! Meet Jorunna parva, a type of nudibranch that is commonly known as the Sea Rabbit or Sea Bunny.

The Year of the Rabbit is predicted to be a year of hope, largely because the rabbit is associated with peace, prosperity and longevity in Asian Cultures.
