Today's Adorable Adoptable

Enid is a 5 lb female Rex.

Hi I’m Enid! I was surrendered to the shelter and had a litter of babies a few days later. That’s how I ended up with IHRS. They came and picked us all up. I LOVE house rabbit life. I want to explore and check out all my surroundings. I love attention and pets. I’m super friendly.. I pretty much have a puppy personality. I am tidy and great with my litterbox. Good with kids and other animals. I’m done raising my babies, spayed and ready to find my forever family!

Today's Adorable
Artemis is a 4 yr old, 5lb female Lop

I'm Artemis and I'm here for the hanging out! I tend to like most people and I like to explore. I'm friendly girl and I can't wait to find a new family! I had a rough start - someone abandoned me in a storage unit. Thankfully I was rescued by animal control and IHRS! I'm happy for my fresh start.

I have some minor medical needs - I have an ongoing respiratory problem but antibiotics haven't been super successful. I'll need a family who will keep an eye on my intermittent snotty nose and take me to the vet when it flares up.

Let's meet and hang out!

Sanctuary Sunday
Maybelline is a sanctuary rabbit. Sanctuary rabbits are special rabbits who are no longer likely to be adopted but remain in the Indiana House Rabbit Society's care. They are provided endless love, long-term care and support.
I am Maybelline. I love having space to kick up my heels in my foster home. Being confined makes me very anxious. I have a fear that no one will respect my
space like my foster mom does.

I prefer to not be in a home with children, they make me nervous. I need a forever home with someone with prio
rabbit experience, especially with rabbits who are slow to trust.

Today's Adorable Adoptables

Bonded pair!

Hi I’m Roxie! I'm a 4 yr. old female Harlequin mix. I love to play with my baby keys, run around and binky! I love to see what my foster family is up to and I get real excited at hay time... I'll even take a few steps while periscoping to get that delicious hay! I can be a bit shy at first but once I know you, I like hanging out.

I'm bonded to my best buddy Joker, and we must be adopted together. He's a little braver than I am, so I let him do the adventurous stuff!

Like most rabbits, I do not Iike to be picked up. I need an adopter that will take the time to get to know me. I also need enrichment and lots of room to run and play. Joker and I are quite tidy with our litterbox!

Hi, I'm Joker! I'm a very handsome brown mini rex/mini lop mix with velvety fur. I am in love with my friend Roxie and we must be adopted together! We are very tidy with our litterbox. I'm a bit more outgoing than Roxie. We are looking for our forever family!

Today's Adorable Adoptables

Edwin, gray, and Johnathan, white, are 5 month old males. They are a rex mix.

Hi, I’m Jonathan. My foster mom called me Big Bro because as soon as I was out of the nest I was always grooming my siblings. It wasn’t a shock that I stayed bonded to my brother Edwin when we were neutered. I’m definitely the more outgoing one. I will jump up in my foster mom’s lap while she’s working to check for treats! We both like to use her as a jungle gym when she’s reading. Edwin and I are still very young and will need to be in a home where we can run and get out our energy. We can’t wait to meet our forever family!

Sanctuary Sunday
Sanctuary rabbits are special rabbits who are no longer likely to be adopted but remain in the Indiana House Rabbit Society's care. They are provided endless love, long-term care and support.
Poor Violet was set free to live on her own outdoors. By the time a neighbor spotted her, she'd been outside over the winter and spring had come. Violet is very wobbly with a presumed neurological condition. She was covered in ticks and really struggles to move around, with her wobbly, stiff walk. She falls over fairly frequently.

Despite her troubles, Violet is SO SWEET. She loves to be petted and just craves attention. We were unable to diagnose the cause of her condition through blood tests and a visit to a neurologist. Violet was stable enough to be spayed, but does remain in need of special housing and care. Please help her with good wishes and support for her veterinary needs if you can!
Violet's just lost her bond mate, Cutly. She is adjusting to being alone and hoping to bond with another bunny if possible.

Today's Adorable Adoptable
Theodore is a 4 month old, 3 lb. male.

Hi, I’m Theodore, but everyone calls me Boss Baby! I was born at the shelter and moved to my foster home a couple days later. As I grew I was half the size of all my siblings but they let me get away with anything. I liked to sit on top of the salad every night and inside the bowl of pellets. Eventually I found out I had a parasite and that’s why I was so tiny. Once that was taken care of I doubled in size! I even passed up one of my siblings! I feel much better now but I still boss my siblings around when I can. I’m very social and love attention. I’m used to being the baby of the family and I’m used to being spoiled (but I’m not a brat). I’m tidy and do well with my litter box. I have lots of energy and need a lot of run time. I will do best in a home where I can be the center of attention. I would love to meet you!

Today's Adorable
Honey is a 5.9lb female Mixed

My name is Honey, because I have such pretty honey colored fur! I was wandering a neighborhood, living under a truck in a driveway. I was eating dried leaves to survive. My foster parents were able to catch me and take me home.

I am a big girl, around 7 pounds. Like most bunnies, I prefer all four paws on the floor. Once you get to know me, I will allow you to pet me. I am very food motivated. I haven’t found a food I haven’t liked! I solved the treat puzzle right away and I constantly beg for more treats! I love to do zoomies around the family room, while my foster mom counts my laps. I explore everywhere, and I enjoy visiting my bunny brothers and sisters. I may be interested in having a bunny companion.

Will you please consider adding me to your family?

Today's Adorable Adoptable
I'm a teeny little fluff ball named Gizzy. Someone left me in a cage next to a dumpster! Fortunately a stranger found me and took care of me. I will need some grooming for my luxurious wool and sometimes cleanups for my undercarriage - it's hard to keep all this fur organized.

I am so happy to be housed safely indoors. I can be a bit anxious sometimes, but once I trust a person I'm happy to be around them. I really need a calm person who will let me be myself and not expect me to allow much handling unless I ask for it. I can be very sassy - I'll lunge at you when you bring my food or visit me, but I'm mostly bluff. I'll be a great companion to a person who can understand my previous abandonment means I will take time to learn to trust someone new. If you can give me that acceptance and understanding, we will be good pals.

I am a busy girl who likes to hang out in my fancy castle. My castle will come with me when I'm adopted, it's so fun to play in! I'm very picky about greens (I eat almost none of them!) and the kind of pellets I eat.

I am very curious about other rabbits when they are visiting. Not sure I want a friend to live with in my own space, but I do like to be near other rabbits.

Sanctuary Sunday

Kirby is a 7 year old, 6.4 lb. male Lop mix.

Hi, my name is Kirby and I'm a delightful bunny with a big attitude! I recently lost my BFF Kerplunk and I'm figuring things out as a single bunny once again.

I am friendly, outgoing and like to solicit attention. I like pets for a limited amount of time. I can also do some champion flops if you watch me long enough. Work hard, play hard!

I can make myself fairly tall when I periscope so some bunny proofing will be needed. If there is a way to escape my area, I will find it! I am fairly tidy outside of my litter box area.

I have chronic upper respiratory infection that needs to managed with medications when I have a flare. I might like another bunny friend some day.

If you would like to help support our sanctuary rabbits, you can donate to Patreon or donate through PayPal.

Today's Adorable Adoptable
Bridget is a 3lb. female Netherland Dwarf

I am Bridget, formerly called Thumper. I am a very shy little girl. My former owner left me when she moved out of her apartment. Fortunately, she had a roommate who contacted my foster mom.

I have a slight head tilt but no one is sure why since I am healthy. I will allow you to hold me once you catch me, and I may give you bunny kisses! I like most foods but not spinach. I am timid and tend to hide when I am out of my pen. With a little coaxing and patience I will warm up to you and love you. Would you please give me a forever home of my own?

BONDED PAIR

Hi, I'm Petey! I'm bonded to my brother Razzle and we need to be adopted together. I'm still growing emotionally, but pretty well full grown size wise!

We love being together and sometimes launch WWIII in our pen as we chase each other and then freeze! We love to be petted, my brother somewhat more than I do. When given run time, we are both brave explorers who will occasionally surprise each other resulting in jumps and runs!

We are still learning our litterbox :)
