Project NAMIstay

The space at NAMI Rock County is really coming together! More thank you’s are in order! The first is to Cabinet Country Ltd. for donating flooring for the group therapy space and to Julio Ruiz with creative View Floor Covering for installing the flooring in the group space for free and at a discount for the existing Enrichment Center! Now some finishing touches and the space will be fully transformed!

We’re so excited to finally get started on the room renovation at NAMI Rock County! Here are some before and after pictures of the new paint in the group therapy room. A huge thank you to Harris Ace Hardware of Janesville, E. Milwaukee St. for donating paint for our project! Stay tuned in the next couple of weeks for flooring and decor!

Thank you drafthouse for helping the NAMIstay project raise $782.78 on food and drink sales throughout the day on March 28th! We are going to start work on the NAMI Rock County space this month and can’t wait to share our progress!

A huge shoutout to the Janesville Athletic Club for being a Lotus sponsor for the NAMIstay Project! The Janesville Athletic Club was founded in 1985 and they have been locally owned and operated ever since. They have continually expanded and updated services and equipment and pride themselves on making fitness fun! They have over 300 group exercise classes offered every month, as well as state of the art equipment. Check them out if you’re ready to expand your fitness regimen!

Thank you to everyone who came out on Sunday to Mocha Moment for our fundraiser. We raised $1,001 from your and Mocha Moment’s generosity! We cannot wait to get started on the renovations at NAMI Rock County and show what your support can accomplish in this community!

Family support group meets at it's regular time today 6-7:30p. This group is intended for family member, caregivers, spouses, etc that has a loved one living with a mental health condition.

Support group is open to the public and there is no registration required. For more information check out our website at www.namirockcounty.org.
