Happy Gotcha Day to this handsome guy; our very own land seal, Mr. Bluto 💙

Since finding his happily ever after Bluto has been living the absolute best life and is the best brother to all of his doggy siblings 🐾

His momma said this about the last two years with their boy:
"Bluto spends his days patrolling parks and our backyard for squirrels, enjoying daily frozen kongs, eating apple slices as snacks (he LOVES them!), wrestling and playing fetch or tug-of-war with his fur-sisters and poppa, and gently snuggling with me, his momma 🤍 I’m chronically ill, and Bluto is a total sweetheart, especially when I’m not feeling well. He turns into Doctor Bluto, and is convinced he’ll heal me if he lays in my lap long enough. He’s a caring, wonderful big baby, and we’re happy to have him as part of the family. He’s so handsome that people regularly stop him on walks to say so! Thank you for this sweet boy, Winston’s Wishes!"

Since finding his happily ever after Harold has been living his best life on the farm with his rescue doggy siblings, chickens, and horses!

His mom had this to say about the last two years with their boy:

“Harold is still Harold, he brings us so much joy. He is just a good ole boy looking for food and scratches. He is my shadow and I am always tripping over him. His eyesight is slowly getting worse but that doesn’t stop him from running around and having fun when he’s not sleeping.“

- The Fromm canned food with the chunks of Turkey and peas, he’ll only finish half of his kong when we use that to fill it 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️
- He doesn’t not love cats and smaller animals but he does get super focused on them so we’d prefer a home with no smaller animals

Over the last couple of years he has had a handful of surgeries to remove mass cell tumors which has been rough on him and his momma, but that doesn’t stop him from living his best life and being happiest boy! He spends his days hanging out with his fur sister, Mocha, modeling for Pittie Clothing Company, and running around with his little humans 🥰

One year ago today we picked this handsome meatball up from Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) and brought him to the sanctuary, so naturally we had to give him a very special Birthday Muscle Tee from Pittie Clothing Company! to celebrate! 🎉

Our goal has always been to get these pups in their happily ever afters well before the one year mark, however, some pups take a bit more time and patience and that's ok!

In the past year we've learned that Frankie loves meeting new people, if you're handing out belly rubs he will be your best friend! Alumni Pupdate! 😍

We can’t believe it’s already been two years since handsome Geoffrey found his happily ever after. Every pup that comes into our care will always have a piece of our hearts and Geoffrey is definitely no exception. When we first picked him up he was terrified of the world and wasn’t sure who or what to trust. We took things at his speed and with time and patience he knew he could trust us and that we would keep him safe 🥰

Geoffrey’s mom had this to say about the last two years since adding him to their family 💙

“Geoffrey continues to melt our hearts, being a big little brother to Bea and staying curious about everything. Although he can still be startled by wind and leaves, etc., he is so brave and is always exploring. Geoffrey recently found his outside voice and woofs when excited. One of his many adorable quirks is to sleep upside down... We all love this guy so much.”

The moment we saw him and his older, but much smaller, sister Bea running and playing together we knew they were meant to be. We love you buddy and are so proud of how far you’ve come! We are so blessed to be able to continue to be a part of your happily ever after 💙🐾🐶
