Please help us celebrate Dr. Kandice Porter as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Porter joined KSU in 2003 as an Assistant Professor in the Health and Physical Education P-12 Program. In 2011, she became the inaugural chair of the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education. Most recently, she has served in the interim capacity as Associate Dean. Dr. Porter received an M.S. in Health Science Education from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in Health Behavior from Indiana University-Bloomington. She helped create the B.S. in Public Health Education and Integrated Health Science degrees. Dr. Porter is involved in state and national initiatives to promote quality school health education programming.

In this role and as a part of the leadership, Dr. Porter will implement our R2 roadmap by growing graduate enrollment, developing new innovative educational opportunities, and overseeing faculty development in our growing and thriving college.
