Dear Artists,
Thank you so much for your patience. We truly appreciate you holding space for us as we worked through this extraordinary technical issue.
To keep this from happening again, we are going to open the classes slowly, in small groups.
This will keep everyone from competing all at once to register.
Each group will post about every two hours.
Please read the schedule below to see which day your favorite class will open. Classes will say "Sold Out" until they are opened for registration.

We're Sorry!
We have encountered technical difficulties with the UK FAI Website.
Dear Artists,
Due to the overload at registration opening, our website froze.
We are working diligently to fix the problem. For now, the registration button has been disabled as we test out our fixes.
Rest assured that all seats for all classes are still open. Not a single registration has occurred today so there is still plenty of room for everybody.
A registration schedule will be forthcoming to shortly that will hopefully mitigate this frustrating situation.
Please be sure to read the schedule carefully to know when your favorite class will be open to register.

There is still time to register for Martina Vasil's ukulele class!
Uke can do it! Ukulele is an easy-to-learn instrument that welcomes all ability-levels. This class is for those new to ukulele and for those wishing to review basic techniques and refresh their skills. Martina will work with you to choose repertoire you love and show you how to strum, play chords, play riffs, and compose your own songs. By the end of your time together, you will be ready to put on a performance with cover songs and original compositions.
Students need to provide their own ukulele.
Not all ukuleles are created equal. If you do not have one, before you rush out to buy a cheap one, please contact the FAI to request hyperlinks for quality ukuleles that will last you for years to come. Expect to spend approximately $50.00 on a new one. Local music shops can also provide guidance. Most people will get a soprano ukulele, but if you have larger hands, purchase a tenor ukulele.
Open to adults in the community age 18 and up. Pre-registration is required.

Seduced by the percussion rhythms of the world? Now is your chance to become one with the music. Hand drums exist in many different cultures around the world and come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and sounds. In this six-week class, you will learn many different rhythmic patterns and fills that will appeal to beginner and advanced alike.
You will need to bring your own drum. If you need help choosing an affordable and quality drum, please contact [email protected] for a list of recommended hand drums from the instructor.

The FAI is thrilled to bring Andrew Ray back for his phenomenal class! This is perfect for stage and screen actors alike. Elevate your acting chops by earning your certification!
Come learn how to battle safely and effectively while earning your official certification through the Society of American Fight Directors.
Class hours vary to allow everyone the opportunity to complete the hours required for cert.
See course description and times below:
This course will teach students safety and performance techniques of stage combat. Students will learn how to create and perform moments of theatrical violence in a safe way. Students who have been certified in Unarmed will be able to choose to train in either broadsword, single rapier, or knife for the stage (training weapons will be provided by the instructor). All students testing for the first time will train in unarmed combat for the stage. Students must accumulate 30 hours of training over the duration of the course to test for their certification through the Society of American Fight Directors, the largest stage combat organization in the world. There will be open training hours where students can accumulate hours allowing for some flexibility in each student’s class schedule.
Class Times Vary:
Feb 27th and March 1st: 5-9pm
March 2nd and 3rd: 1-6pm
March 4th - 8th: 5-9pm
March 9th and 10th: 1-6pm
March 11th and 12th: 5-9
Tuition: $300, includes certification fee
Pre-registration is required. Adults 18 and older.
