Let Justice Roll Down:
God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation
Prayer from Lesson Eight, Intergenerational Justice
God and guide of every generation, our children could well say with Jerusalem’s exiles, “The parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.”
We do not wish this to be so.
Help us as we take responsibility now for the sake of future generations.
Amen.

A huge thank you to Charles Wiley who shared his time and talents by making this special piece for us. We will cherish it!
Presbyterian Women's Churchwide Gathering starts tomorrow, but today Presbyterian women are already meeting in St. Louis and living out the PW Purpose and its commitment to building inclusive, caring community.

Yay, WE did it!!
After surviving a pandemic, a storm and 7 months of the actual work being done by 17 students, volunteers and staff members, our 835 reusable tote bags are on the way to the national Presbyterian Women Conference in St.Louis! Wow, we are very satisfied with our great teamwork! We have created supplementary income for all those students.
Thank you to our community for their support!
Our heartfelt gratitude to the Presbyterian Women in the PC(USA) for this partnership!

Prayer from Lesson Seven, Economic Climate Justice
God of this planet, our world is not only being overtaken by nature’s forces, but it is also being divided by unequal harms, especially to the most vulnerable of your people.
Grant us your peace.

Today is PW Gives Day (https://ow.ly/TliP50SOmOF), a day Presbyterian Women sets aside each year to commemorate the founding of Presbyterian Women! Through PW Purposeful participation, prayer, leadership, and financial support—with the blessing of the Holy Spirit—we can align our feet to walk the path toward another 36 years as Presbyterian Women.
A message from Kathy Reeves, Moderator, PW Board of Directors, 2021—2024:
As leaders called to ministry through Presbyterian Women, PW Gives Day is an opportunity for each of to participate in building up and supporting the many ministries and programs of PW. If not us, then who? 2024 commemorates 36 years of PW. Won’t you join me in giving $36 for 36 years or perhaps even $360 for 36 years? A gift of any size affirms the witness that is PW.

The Churchwide Gathering of Presbyterian Women is in 14 days! 💕And today, we have just five months until Christmas! But one important date for Presbyterian Women is in just six days: PW Gives Day, July 31, which commemorates the founding of Presbyterian Women.
Community is the foundation of our lives as Presbyterian Women. That is why we gather. We gather in our local churches, at our regional events, and at our triennial Gathering (14 days until...!); and more recently, we sometimes gather virtually. We come together to chart our way forward (as individuals and as a faithful body) to participate in each point of our Purpose: Bible study, mission, advocacy through the pursuit of justice and peace, strengthening our denomination. Although we could rename our gatherings as events or conferences, the word “gathering” suggests, perhaps, that we are together, even when apart, and our coming together is our time to gather…our bodies, hearts, witness … to the glory of our loving Creator through Presbyterian Women.
On PW Gives Day, let us celebrate the community that is Presbyterian Women, the community that unites each of us in faith and tradition and often friendship, as well as provides us with a way to live into God's call on our lives. In the comments below, share about the importance of gathering as PW in your life or community. And if you are so moved, please consider supporting Presbyterian Women on PW Gives Day with your financial gift.
Give online at presbyterianwomen.org/give (select PW Gives Day and your gift amount. Please scroll and type “PWGDay24” in the comments box as well as your church and presbytery (or synod) information); or mail your check to Presbyterian Women, Inc., PO Box 643652, Pittsburgh PA 15264-3652. Please indicate “annual mission fund” and PWGDay24 in the memo line of your check.

God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation
Prayer from Lesson Six, Climate Change
God of our lives, keep us calm but attentive.
In the words of Saint Francis’s prayer, may we be instruments of your peace.
Where there is doubt, let us sow faith; where there is despair, hope; darkness, light.
Teach us the joy of participating with all our hearts in your new creation on earth. Amen.
