Had an incredible day with the South Plains Young Marines! We kicked off with an awesome Health & Safety event, bringing fun and interactive experiences to our community's youth. After a hearty chow, we sharpened our COD, Land Nav skills and wrapped up by discussing our upcoming 3rd Annual Car Wash Fundraiser and honing our public speaking. Proud of the dedication and teamwork shown today!

🌟 **South Plains Young Marines Drill Update** 🌟

Today was another fantastic day for the South Plains Young Marines! We kicked off the morning with a crisp formation and invigorating PT session. Recruits received some training while the Young Marines performed a meticulous uniform inspection. After a hearty chow, we enjoyed a fun marching game and polished our Close Order Drill (COD) skills. It was a great second day of recruit training and a successful drill overall! 🥇🇺🇸

We made a trip to Illinois and ran into some Young Marines. It was fun hanging out with Midwest Central Young Marines

🌟 Welcome New Recruits! 🌟

We are thrilled to welcome new recruits to our unit! Today, they began learning basic movements and took part in a Drug Demand Reduction class.

Young Marines also worked on making ranger beads as part of their Land Nav training.

🏅 Special congratulations to LCpl Wilson, PFC Cuellar, and Registered Adult Volunteer Brandi Cuellar for receiving the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. Your dedication and hard work inspire us all.

Today, our unit had the distinct honor of leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the Memorial Day Ceremony. It was a moving tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are proud to have played a part in this solemn occasion.
