Meadowdale High School principal finalists and community forum reminder

Dear Meadowdale High School community,

We are pleased to announce we have selected two finalists for the Meadowdale High School Principal position.

David Friedle: David Friedle has been Assistant Principal at Alderwood Middle School since 2018. Previous positions include Dean of Students, Computer Science Teacher, and Administrative Intern for Seattle Public Schools. He has also served as a Technology and Math Teacher for Everett Public Schools.

Kim Whitworth: Kim Whitworth has been Chief Academic Officer/Acting Superintendent at Monroe School District since 2019. Previous positions include Executive Director of Schools and Principal for Seattle Public Schools.

Join the Virtual Community Forum: The virtual Community Forum is at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 27. All are welcome. Interpretation will be provided in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Russian. For the Zoom webinar details, please visit the district’s online calendar: bit.ly/ESDCalendar

This class had been hugely affected by COVID - they started High School online and then in masks - high school wasn’t really normal until partway through last year.

The pandemic put us behind in the fundraising department to make this party really special.

We need to ask your support one more time so that we can ensure these graduates have the kind of fun they deserve as we send them off to make their mark in this world.
