Thank you, 3M, for supporting STEM education. You make this world a better place!
3M is honored to be recognized as a finalist in the Science and Technology category of Fast Company’s 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards for Sorbent-on-a-roll (SOAR) for direct air capture, a materials science-based climate tech solution developed in partnership with Svante.
We're also proud to share that SOAR received an honorable mention in the Climate category.
This material can trap carbon dioxide (CO2) found in the atmosphere and permanently remove it, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Join us in congratulating Princesa Hansen for being selected an NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Educator Honoree representing Minnesota. Princesa has been teaching with Northern Star Online (NSO) since 2009. She is deeply committed to helping her students explore their interests in technology and computer science.
Through her commitment and teaching, many NSO students have been able to explore their passions in computing technology while in high school, preparing them for success in college and beyond.
We're so fortunate to have Princesa on our team.
Can you please help a student?
She is doing a science fair project to explore the importance of music in our lives.
You can help her by taking her brief Google Survey! She needs as many people to take her survey as possible so that she has enough data to tell if there are trends in the responses.
Anyone age 13+ can take her survey!
Just go to: https://forms.gle/9TRmnAuE9f2WxYjZ8
She is hoping to have 80 people take the survey. (My ask: Help her go over 100, please!?) Please send this message to 3 people you know who might be willing to participate too! Please consider if you might also post it on your page to help out this student! You may remain totally anonymous.
Music Magic - what role does music play in your life? Thank you for participating in this survey! I am excited to learn your thoughts on music and what role it has played in your life. Who should complete the survey? Anyone who is 13 years of age or older. How long will it take to complete the survey? Approximately 5-10 minutes to listen to music clips...
