You're invited to enjoy the first story walk this summer from Parks and Recreation. Start by the Lions Pavilion at the Maple Grove Community Center. The book is on signs along the trail, so you can read while you walk around the lake.

"Juneteenth for Mazie" tells the story of Mazie as she remembers the struggles and the triumphs in preparation to celebrate Juneteenth. This beautiful book will captivate both children and adults!

Make sure to plan ahead!

6:15 AM: Parking open. Please park in the large lot on the east side of Fernbrook Lane, south of the high school building. Volunteers and police will be there to assist you.
6:30 AM: Race day packet pickup open.
7:15 AM: Packet pickup closes.
7:30 AM: Half Marathon start on the stadium track
7:45 AM: 10K start on the stadium track
7:55 AM: 5K starts on the stadium track
8:50 AM: 5K course closes
9:30 AM: 10K course closes
11:00 AM: Half marathon course closes

WE ARE JUST 10 DAYS AWAY! The Maple Grove Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is a community race held annually in mid-May in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. The Maple Grove Half Marathon,10K & 5K offers four events in 2023: a half marathon, a 10K, a 5K run/walk and a virtual HM Bike Tour.

Each event begins and ends at the Maple Grove High School stadium.
