Our Business Expo participants may have gotten a little soggy but THANK YOU for participating, sharing your talents, products, advice, giveaways and miles of smiles.

Congratulations to the more than 300 runners who sloshed through buckets of rain during the 2024 Jim Deane Rice Lake Run. During the July 13th event, Abbi Steiner and Cade Sanvik finished first in the women's and men's divisions. Sanvik, who was back for his third win in three years, set a new course record of 19:15 for the loop around Rice Lake. Well done!

Maple Grove Days and Maple Grove Community Organization would like to thank Rebecca Key and Gillian Laursen for TEN years of stewardship of the Maple Grove Ambassador Scholarship Program! They guided a decade's worth of candidates and ambassadors with grace and we thank them for providing an excellent example of leadership. We're excited to see you in your next chapter!

Friends, near and far, enjoyed the wonderful historical exhibits and treasures found at the Maple Grove Historical Museum. Missed it on Sunday of Maple Grove Days? Feel free to stop in any second Sunday of the month, 1-4pm. Free but donations gladly accepted.

Thank you Lynde Greenhouse & Nursery for hosting Plant a Pot. Green thumbs or not, everyone had a great time choosing a beautiful flower, the perfect pot and digging in the dirt. Sarah and staff added to the fun.

Osseo/MG American Legion was the place to be on Sunday morning. Come for the Pancake Breakfast and stay for the Cribbage Tournament. Learn the game, support the winners or play yourself. Thanks for hosting fun MG Days events.

Jr. Golf was a fun event last Friday for 24 young folks, ages 8-17, to demonstrate their love of the game. Thank you Eagle Lake Golf Course for providing the perfect place. Medals were awarded for longest putt, longest drive and closest to the pin.

Any given day of the week the 18 Pickleball Courts at Lakeview Knolls Park are full of avid players and fans of the sport. MG Days hosted our first annual Pickleball Tournament on Friday with fun and great play.

Visit and support the Maple Grove Farmers Market, every Thursday, 3-7pm, located at Church of the Open Door, 9060 Zanzibar Lane No. Join them on August 8 to celebrate National Farmers Market Week!

Maple Grove Days 2024 has come to a close and it was one for the books! Thank you to all of our wonderful community members, volunteers, city workers, first responders, and everyone for your support. You provided flexibility with unpredictable weather and a unified approach to put on a great event! We couldn't have done this without you!

All who led, planned and assisted in making 2024 Maple Grove Days a success, also remembered our dear friend Tanya Huntley who passed away last December. Tanya served her community as a dedicated city employee, hardy volunteer, mentor to many, and wonderful mother who showed such strength battling her health problems.

Tanya was in our hearts throughout our festival this year as committee members and volunteers proudly displayed her passion on the back of our shirts. That phrase, "Find The Joy," carried us through our tasks at hand, each step of the way, with heartfelt memories of our dear Tanya.

There wasn't one aspect of Maple Grove Days where Tanya did not show her leadership skills, knowledge of the deed and all with humor and fun.

Please take a moment to remember Tanya at the bench in her honor, placed on the path behind the Maple Grove Library, looking out over our beautiful city. We love you Tanya.

We're back in business (for now)! Inflatables are available with the exception of a few. Llamas at Central Park will be there at 2:30pm.

As you make your way over to Maple Grove Days festivities, a friendly reminder that there is no parking available at the Community Center today — but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

Free and plentiful parking is available at the Maple Grove Transit Station. Then, hop on the free shuttle to get to and from your favorite events throughout the day. The shuttle runs continuously until 11 p.m.
