On February 12, 2016, I started the group with only small plans. But God saw different and manifest those in need with many blessing.
Operation Taking Back 901 is a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose mission is to implement economic and educational programs for the Youth and their families in Shelby County. The team is made up with family & friends. And believe it or not, we are growing in numbers. As you may know, crime is high along with poverty in our community. So we are taking a stand & becoming foot soldiers.
I am honored that I had the pleasure of interviewing Kennedy, one of our incredible participants in the UpliftHER program, during our empowering tea party event! Hearing her story, her goals, and her journey was a true inspiration. It’s young women like Kennedy who remind us why we do what we do—creating spaces for growth, resilience, and support. Together, we’re building a stronger community one conversation at a time. ” www.takingback901.org
