Ages 10 and up! Health, Wellness & Fun! Learning how to weight train, aerobic activity, focus and smile. #901
Do you have a passion for helping in the autism community? I have room in my head for another voice 😂 #901
How many of you can do 15 reps of the nasty Ab Wheel? 😛 Mohammad is 17 of age with autism and challenges us with stubbornness. BUT he has his favorite exercises and we can start with that motivation! GIVING TUESDAY IS TODAY ~ Don’t be stubborn 😉 #901
It is almost Giving Tuesday! Memphis, would you support the only, local non-profit that gives teens & adults a chance to learn an exercise routine? A place of their own to workout? We need a bit of help over here. Thanks a bunch! 🏋🏼♂️🙌 #901

If I could say it in words there would be no reason to paint. The main thing is to be moved, to love, to hope, to help move them forward ~ model Moh.
Art is not what you see, but what you make others see ~ model Nick. Art for Autism Awareness. Giving Tuesday Nov 29th.
Autism is not an illness; it simply means your brain works differently from other people. There are different levels of autism known as a “spectrum.” The art of life is to know how to enjoy a little and endure much. Please support Blue Balloon this . Thank you
Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. What many people do not know is that exercise is one of 27 evidence-based practices (EBP) that can help achieve learning or developmental skills and goals for those with ASD. A meta-analysis of 16 studies suggested that, on average, exercise interventions led to a 37% improvement in symptoms of autism, specifically behavioral and academic improvement.

We get creative in accomplishing the task. Ab exercises can be fun!
Sam is open to learning all the exercises we throw at him. His physical fitness circuit consists of 2 sets of10 weight training exercises with cardio intervals on the crosstrainer achieved in 45 mins. Sam is a champ and we enjoy coaching him. We know others may say "well I myself do not exercise so this really isnt important." However, you make that choice not to attend a gym. The busy, populated health clubs / fitness centers are not an option for the many on the spectrum. Are you willing to help us make a change?

We are very proud of Destin for achieving 24 sessions of physical fitness with his Autism Exercise Specialist. Destin likes sword fighting themes and gaming so we surprised him with a handmade sailing ship. We see that big smile! Would you be willing to support us in bringing more teens to participate in physical fitness and health?
Animals and people, we can share very special moments. Like our gym dogs, they are loved on by our clients; especially the person that cannot or does not have a pet enjoys the moments.
Do you think a teen with autism can learn how to jump rope?
Destin did a “try out” visit with us and now He is bodybuilding through his 20th session. Destin went from “I’m not good at this” to “ let me try new exercises!”
With your help we have fully funded nine autistic participants to have a certified autism exercise coach and training facility to workout. We are asking you keep funding us so that these participants and others can continue on with our evidence-based exercise intervention for the ASD community here in Memphis. Please participate in our GIVING TUESDAY FUNDRAISING THIS NOVEMBER
Omar did a great workout today! Today Omar exercised solo! He worked the equipment without assistance and even gave us a "make a muscle" pose! Omar enjoys watching the Ice Age Movie on the big screen while performing crosstrainer cardio and weight lifting for 45 mins. Go Omar! I am reaching out to you out there to support us this November Giving Tuesday so we can provide our service to many more ASD individuals in the Memphis. Thanks!
Every $25 donated this season helps sponsor an autistic teen/adult to have their own certified Autism Exercise Coach. Give today.
Thank you NIKE for supporting the Blue Balloon Foundation. Nick is showing his thanks for being able to participate at the gym 🙌
Mohammad is rocking out doing his cardio! I believe we have found the right time of day and right music for his exercise! Go Moh! #901
Making it fun! Balance, strength and coordination training. #901
Before we get our fitness on, we may grab a hug from the gym dogs! #901
