Happy Monday! As we know, it’s election season. MULYP is partnering with New Covenant Church to ensure Memphis communities have the resources they need leading up to Election Day. We are taking it a step further by supplying those communities with household items and information for an upcoming food drive. Take this opportunity and join us as we canvass on 9/17! Introducing our August Member of the Month!! David Levon McKinnie, Jr, a proud Memphis native and University of Memphis graduate with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, is passionate about giving back to his community. As a Network Engineer, David dedicates his free time to volunteering and mentoring, driven by a desire to uplift the city that shaped him. He joined MULYP to connect with like-minded individuals who share his commitment to service, stating, “I have no problem doing the work if it means my community benefits.”
Though he hasn’t launched a business of his own, David is a strong supporter of his friends’ local ventures, believing in the power of community. He encourages everyone to support these businesses:
