Church Developers Network
We meet for a luncheon usually on the last Tuesday of every month to network.
Church Developers Network (CDN) is a network of pastors, ministers, nonprofits and others who want to see a racially reconciled Memphis, Tennessee in two generations or less. Church Developers Network was started by Pastor Craig Strickland of Hope Presbyterian Church. The network started as a way for Pastor Craig to share best practices with new churches that were starting from scratch. Over time
Season of Divine Confirmation and Prayer
Dear CDN Family,
As we start the 40 days leading up to the Pastor and Ministry Leaders’ Marriage Conference, I am reminded of how God has confirmed our journey. The recent "Own Your Block" event with Mayor Young fulfilled a prophecy from May 2023, and Dr. Reginald Boyce’s new role is a testament to God’s hand at work.
The 40 Day Prayer Challenge begins today, right now. Join us in focused prayer using Mark Batterson’s “Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge”. Remember, prayer is not preparation for the battle; prayer is where the battle is won. By 2035, Memphis will go from Worst to First in many areas because of the power of prayer.

CALLING ALL PRAYER WARRIORS, PASTORS, AND CLERGY!! This Saturday, May 25th, Saving Lost Kids is supporting the National Missing Children's Day by releasing their latest program to support missing children in the Mid-South... "PRAY 4 ME". To usher in our new program, we are hosting a "Prayer for Hope" prayer gathering to surround the 31 children currently missing in West Tennessee and North Mississippi in a circle of prayer. Together, we will be praying for each of the missing children for their safety, protection, and their hopeful soon recovery.
This new ”PRAY 4 ME” program helps to surround these missing children with a circle of prayer by connecting each missing child to a church or faith based group. The church then “Adopts” the missing child by sharing the missing child on their bulletins, presentation screens, or any other way to bring awareness of their missing child. By taking a moment each Sunday to pray for the missing child they have “adopted”, we will establish a continuous lifeline of support that only prayer can provide.
Please take of moment and join us this Saturday! (No registration necessary!)
Yours in peace, hope, and love!
Brian Callies (Cowboy), Founder/CEO

Our Story
Church Developers Network was started by Pastor Craig Strickland of Hope Presbyterian Church. The network started as a way for Pastor Craig to share best practices with new churches that were starting from scratch. Over time the network expanded to ministries and other pastors who wanted to learn best practices for churches. The network became a place for racial reconciliation and unity to grow while still keeping the basic foundation of discussing best practices that can help any ministry or church. In 2008 Pastor Craig turned the network over to Pastor Dan Henley of Journey Christian Church and Pastor Dana Key of The Love of Christ Church (TLC). Under their leadership the network has continued to bridge the gap between races, denominations, and any other barriers that might keep God's church separated.
Later the network added the leadership of Jarrett Jamieson to co-lead with Pastor Dan Henley. The network continues to be a place where best practices are discussed so that churches can operate with excellence. The primary focus of the network is to see a racially reconciled Memphis, Tennessee in two generations or less. This focus on racial reconciliation is reflected in the leadership and partners.
