Our renovations of the Tabor Stage are past the mid-way point!

TSC's Production Manager Jeremy Fisher, Asst. Technical Director Micki McCormick, Andrew Glenn, and intern Charity Osedo this summer have removed our Elizabethan stage and, in its place, are creating a flexible cockpit of theatricality that will bring you four different seating configurations with improved sightlines/access and a permanent 360-degree balcony and tunnel around the perimeter. We can't wait to usher you in!

Tennessee Shakespeare Company to perform free series The Memphis theater group will present a series of free performances around Memphis and West Tennessee this fall. It will also host plays and other theatrical events at its newly renovated Tabor Stage throughout the year.

Join us for a five-week class exploring the works of Shakespeare through monologues and scene study that focus on verse, character, voice, group exercises, and classical acting methodology.

TSC's Sarah Hankins leads the class. She brings over 20 years of experience with performance as a professional actor and teacher, having recently come to TSC after working with students from UNC School of the Arts (currently ranked in the top two BFA Drama programs in the nation).
