Delta Waterfowl - Memphis Chapter

This past weekend committee member John Graeber hosted a fun-filled youth hunt at his camp, Delta Marsh!

John donated this youth hunt at our 23rd Annual Banquet this past September. The two young men in attendance at the hunt shot both their limits of ducks, and one shot his very first duck on their outing!

Fellow committee member Collier Phillips was along for the ride to lend a helping hand. What a great mentorship experience for these two up-and-coming hunters! We can’t wait to have them as part of the Delta Waterfowl Memphis chapter in the future.

The last day of duck season was a success! 🦆

The season has come and gone so fast; we hope you have lots to show for it! We couldn’t imagine a better final day in the blind with our friends, family, and Banded gear! Banded is a trusted supporting partner of the Memphis Delta Waterfowl Chapter, and we absolutely love their range of products.

If passed and signed into law, the HEN Act, backed by Delta Waterfowl and proposed in the U.S. House of Representatives, could increase the number of ducks in each flyway during the fall migration for years to come. 🌾🦆

Introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives yesterday, H.R. 6854—The Habitat Enhancement Now, or HEN, Act—would provide funding for the installation and maintenance of Hen Houses in crucial breeding habitats and the enhancement of nesting and brood habitat in California. Such funding would boost nest success and result in more ducks over your decoys each fall.
