Check out highlights from this week’s Junior workshop on networking facilitated by MC Alum Mckenzii Webster (Class of 2009). During the workshop, Challengers learned how to “work a room” and communicate professionally with others. They were also shown how to develop and create an elevator pitch, leaving them with the confidence to interact expressively and articulately with a wide range of people.

Ope Adebanjo received her Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 2020 and her B.A. from Harvard University in 2015. In 2016, she received a Master's degree in International Business from Georgia State University.
Ope is a legal powerhouse, and her expertise extends to law, AI, legal operations, and the exploration of non-traditional paths in the legal field. She is actively involved in her community as a mentor and advisor, guiding students and legal professionals on how best to leverage their legal expertise in the 21st century.
Beyond her professional and academic achievements, Ope is a passionate foodie and an aspiring chef. She is the creative mind behind “The Food Lover's Guide to Law.” A book that artfully blends her culinary passion with her commitment to nurturing future lawyers by creating accessible and engaging legal content that anyone can savor. 🍴
"The Food Lover's Guide to Law" is an excellent resource for law students and lawyers who want to learn the intricacies of law in an enjoyable way.

As the Program and Social Media Administrator (PSMA), you will be responsible for managing administrative support and social media and assisting with program workshops. The role requires ensuring data integrity, creativity, and expertise in technology to support the program. You will also serve as administrative support to the Executive Director and program manager, manage social media accounts, and assist with budget administration.
The ideal candidate profile:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in an administrative support role and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The candidate should have high skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite, and various e-mail marketing platforms.
- Strong or intermediate skills in function-specific database management software are also required.
- Experience managing and creating content for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and TicTok.
- Excellent communication skills for both verbal and written communication, time management skills, and organizational skills.
- The candidate should also have previous experience in the non-profit sector.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deadline-driven and possess a high level of organization.
- Ability to think strategically and develop project plans.
- Evening/weekend hours may be required to assist in managing workshops and events.
