We are inviting you to take part in the 2024 Spring 40 Days for Life Campaign beginning on February 14th.

Abortion is illegal in TN, but Memphis women are still having abortions. They are just having them in another state. Recently, one of our volunteers went to IL to one of the abortion centers our local facilities refer to, and he saw 15 women from Shelby County arrive for abortions during a single shift.

We want to help YOU save babies from abortion and help vulnerable moms find life and hope.

We have prepared an opportunity for Christians in Memphis to come together to pray for an end to abortion in our community during the International 40 Days for Life campaign.

What: Look at the calendar online at www.40daysforlife.com/memphis and look for hours still available for you. Bring a friend and come to the sidewalk outside of Planned Parenthood to pray for an hour during the 40 Days for Life prayer campaign.

When: Any available times between February 14th-March 24th, 6:00am-6:00pm, 7 days/week

We need you! We are expanding our outreach on the sidewalks in front of abortion-referral facilities in the Mid-south. These abortion providers are sending dozens of Memphis women up north for abortions every day. We have a chance to help our pro-life neighbors in Illinois while helping women from our own community from right here in Memphis.

What do we need from you? We need your time.
We have hired a new Women's Care Network sidewalk counselor who will be starting next week. She will be doing the sidewalk outreach, but we need volunteers who are simply willing to stand (or sit) on the sidewalk at Planned Parenthood and pray for her as she speaks with clients. This volunteer position does not require special training. Our biggest need is on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 2:00PM-4:00PM. Can you come out to the sidewalk for any of these hours? As we reflect over Christmas spent with loved ones, we want to remember our clients. Most of our clients cite lack of emotional and financial support as the main reason they choose abortion. When they find out they're pregnant, they feel alone--or often their circle of friends and relatives are pushing them to have an abortion. That's why it's so vital to have our sidewalk advocates there outside the abortion-referral facilities to lovingly intercept these scared women before they go inside.

Tamaya was 15 and scared when she found out she was pregnant. She admitted that abortion had crossed her mind. When we asked her about meeting our Advocates on the sidewalk, she said, "I didn't have a lot of support. But when I met you...Instant support." She chose life for her baby girl, Faith, and we were thrilled to provide her with a free photoshoot this year. Praise the Lord there were sidewalk advocates on the sidewalk when she arrived at Planned Parenthood.
