Saturday June 22nd was the AAU District Quailfying meet hosted by Blues City Runners Track Club. As I looked around the stadium and noticed the history of this 31 years Track program, I realized how much of a blessing the club has been to the city of Memphis and surrounding areas. The many teams, coaches, athletes, parents, and grandparents that were out there, touched my heart and I wanted to share some pictures. Thank you Rickey Tate for inviting me into this organization 29 years ago and being a big brother to me. It was more that are not on the pictures that were at the meet. The Perry sisters from Mitchell High school that has a team in Nashville. My heart is over joyed of the many lives that have been touched through the years. Though I can't remember some names and faces because I'm older, don't hold it against me, lol. I am thankful that God let us cross paths.
