If you’re looking for some cheap Earth Medicine,
take a walk in the woods and catch some of
Mama Natures sweet, sweet Medicine.
🌞✨🌲✨🌳✨🌲✨🌞
Walking in the woods, often referred to as "forest bathing" or shinrin-yoku in Japanese, aligns with several principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This practice can offer various physical, mental, and energetic benefits based on TCM theories:
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
1. Nourishes Qi (Vital Energy) and Blood
Walking in nature helps to stimulate the flow of Qi and blood throughout the body, promoting overall vitality and well-being. Fresh air in wooded areas is believed to be rich in Qi, which can be absorbed by the body to enhance energy levels.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
2. Balances the Five Elements
The natural environment in the woods represents all Five Elements in TCM: Wood (trees), Fire (sunlight), Earth (soil), Metal (minerals in the ground), and Water (streams, humidity). Walking in the woods helps to harmonize these elements within the body, leading to a balanced state of health.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
3. Calms the Shen (Mind/Spirit)
In TCM, the Shen represents the mind or spirit, which is housed in the Heart. Walking in the tranquil environment of a forest can soothe the Shen, reduce stress, anxiety, and mental agitation, and promote a calm and peaceful state of mind.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
4. Strengthens the Liver
The Liver in TCM is associated with the Wood element and is responsible for the smooth flow of Qi and emotions. Walking in the woods, surrounded by trees, can help to soothe and regulate the Liver, easing emotional tension, irritability, and frustration, and promoting emotional balance.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
5. Improves Lung Function and Clears Heat
The fresh, oxygen-rich air in the forest can enhance Lung function by providing cleaner air, which helps to nourish the body's Qi. The forest environment may also clear excess heat from the body, especially beneficial for those who have conditions characterized by heat or inflammation.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
6. Enhances the Immune System
TCM views the immune system as a function of the body's Wei Qi (Defensive Qi), which protects against external pathogens. Spending time in the woods is thought to strengthen Wei Qi by reducing stress, improving mood, and enhancing the body's resistance to illness.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
7. Reduces Dampness and Promotes Circulation
Walking promotes movement and sweating, which can help to reduce internal dampness—a condition associated with sluggishness, heaviness, or excess mucus. Moving in nature supports circulation, helping to invigorate blood and Qi flow throughout the body.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
8. Grounds and Centers the Body and Mind
The Earth element is associated with grounding, stability, and nourishment. Walking on natural terrain connects the body directly to the earth, helping to ground the mind and body and foster a sense of stability and centeredness.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
9. Harmonizes Yin and Yang
Walking in the woods, especially in varying weather conditions and times of day, can help to balance the body's Yin (cooling, calming) and Yang (warming, energizing) energies, contributing to overall health and equilibrium.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
10. Promotes Mindfulness and Deep Breathing
The rhythmic activity of walking, combined with the sensory stimulation of the natural environment, encourages deep breathing and mindfulness, which can help calm the nervous system, lower blood pressure, and improve overall mental and physical health.
✨🌲✨🌳 ✨
Walking in the woods offers a holistic approach to health, supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being in line with TCM principles.

The half Buddha, half demon tattoo represents the duality of human nature, symbolizing the constant struggle between good and evil, light and darkness, within each individual.
It serves as a reminder to embrace both aspects of our existence and strive for balance and inner peace.
Half Buddha Half Demon is a reminder that within you lies the strength and wisdom to overcome any challenge. With this in mind, during life's difficulties, gaze into the serene smile of Buddha and find solace, for this too shall pass. Though darkness may veil the light for a time, it holds the promise of dawn.
Likewise, in times of struggle, grasp the pendant as a reminder of your resilience and patience. Its beauty bears the message that peace will come again. In the same way, channel the grace of Buddha; confront your demons with courage and compassion. Endure, for all conditions are impermanent. Joy will follow sorrow; delight will follow pain. They exist in harmony, each born of the other
The so-called turning the world around, turning anger into peace,
sometimes heaven wants to make you, and will give you some tests,
give you a little torture, you must be grateful,
because after experiencing hardships, wisdom will be improved.
No matter what storms or tests you go through, as long as you have firm faith, the sun will come out naturally. After the sun comes out, you must work harder and strive to get ahead, and you will naturally get results.
👏 love to see it!!! Schedule your next cupping session ❤️ complementary with massage, acupuncture, or acu-ssage combo sessions!

Garlic lemon butter duck offers various health benefits according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Here’s how:
✨Garlic: Known for its ability to warm the body, garlic can help improve circulation, dispel cold, and detoxify. It is also believed to support the immune system and has antimicrobial properties.
✨Lemon: Lemon is considered cooling and is often used to clear heat and transform phlegm. It aids in digestion, promotes the movement of Qi (energy), and can help resolve phlegm and dampness.
✨Butter: In moderation, butter can be nourishing and moisturizing, supporting Yin and Blood. It is considered grounding and can help lubricate the intestines.
✨Duck: Duck meat is slightly cooling and is believed to nourish Yin and Blood, benefit the lungs, and support the kidneys. It can also help counteract dryness and replenish body fluids.
Combining these ingredients, garlic lemon butter duck can provide a balanced meal that supports overall health by warming the body, improving digestion, and nourishing Yin and Blood. However, it's important to balance this dish with other elements in your diet to avoid excess heat or dampness, depending on your individual constitution and health needs.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the health benefits of seafood stuffed salmon with roasted broccoli can be understood through the properties and effects of each ingredient:
✨Salmon✨
•Nourishes Yin: Salmon is considered nourishing to the body's Yin energy, which can help balance the body, particularly if there is Yin deficiency.
•Supports Qi and Blood: It is rich in protein and essential fatty acids, which can help support the production of Qi (vital energy) and Blood.
•Moistens Dryness: The high-fat content in salmon helps to moisten the body's tissues and combat dryness.
✨Seafood (e.g., shrimp, scallops, etc.)✨
•Boosts Kidney Yang: Many types of seafood are considered beneficial for strengthening Kidney Yang, which supports energy, warmth, and sexual vitality.
•Supports Blood and Essence: Seafood is often rich in minerals and nutrients that nourish Blood and Essence, essential substances in TCM.
✨Broccoli✨
•Clears Heat: Broccoli has a cooling nature and can help clear internal Heat, which is beneficial for conditions like inflammation.
•Strengthens the Stomach and Spleen: It aids digestion and supports the Spleen and Stomach, improving the body's ability to process and absorb nutrients.
•Detoxifies the Body: Broccoli can help remove toxins from the body, thanks to its high fiber content and detoxifying properties.
✨Combined Benefits✨
•Balance of Yin and Yang: The combination of Yin-nourishing salmon and Yang-boosting seafood creates a balanced meal that supports overall energy and vitality.
•Digestive Support: Broccoli aids digestion, ensuring that the body efficiently processes and absorbs the nutrients from the salmon and seafood.
•Nutrient-Rich: This meal is rich in essential vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids, supporting overall health, immune function, and energy levels.
Eating seafood stuffed salmon with roasted broccoli can provide a well-rounded approach to maintaining health, supporting the body's internal balance, and promoting optimal function according to TCM principles.
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body. They are VERY small, like a cats whisker. Many insert with no or very little sensation. It is believed to help alleviate pain through several mechanisms:
✨Endorphin Release: Acupuncture can stimulate the release of endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain-relieving chemicals.
✨Neurotransmitter Regulation: It can influence neurotransmitter levels in the brain, such as serotonin and dopamine, which affect mood and pain perception.
✨Blood Flow Improvement: Acupuncture may increase blood flow to the affected area, promoting healing and reducing pain.
✨Nervous System Modulation: It can modulate the autonomic nervous system, potentially reducing the stress response and its associated pain.
✨Gate Control Theory: Acupuncture may activate nerve fibers that block pain signals from reaching the brain, based on the gate control theory of pain.
Clinical studies have shown that acupuncture can be effective for various types of pain, including chronic pain conditions like arthritis, migraines, and lower back pain.

I just opened up this Sunday for massages! 9am, 10:30/11am 💥
Your pelvis is the key to ‘unlocking’ your mid-back.
Let’s use these progress photos as an example to illustrate this.
In both photos her hands are placed on the wall just above hip height.
In the top photo when she reaches forward, you can see how her mid-back stays in a rounded position and isn’t able to drop in line with her hips.
At first glance this is a thoracic (mid-back) mobility problem. Her mid-back can’t extend and her shoulders can’t fully reach overhead. Not only does it look like her mid-back and shoulders are the problem, that’s where she felt the majority of tension and limitation.
However after doing some more thorough movement assessments to help take a closer look at what happens when she moves, it was clear that her mid-back wasn’t the problem at all.
A simple squat and bend forward movement assessment showed that her pelvis had little to no motion. When she performed a squat, her pelvis would roll back and she’d use her mid-back to squat. When she bent forward, again her pelvis would barely tilt and she’d do most of the bending with her mid-back.
Said differently, in both movement assessments she moved her mid-back more to make up for her pelvis barely moving.
No wonder why her mid-back was feeling so tight and overworked; she was using her mid-back to make up for her pelvis not moving all day long anytime she moved.
After giving her a movement program to follow that restored mobility to her pelvis and hips, she retested this same movement and found a world of difference in how her upper body moved and felt!
Her success story, and thousands of success stories like hers, are why I have anyone that comes to me for help start with The Pain Assessment Toolkit. You can’t fix a problem just by chasing what’s tight or what hurts; you have to look at how the entire body moves to see whats really going on.
The Pain Assessment Toolkit is going to lay down a foundation of understanding that will continue to serve you for the rest of your life.
