I started wholewithlo to connect with, and guide you to your feeling of wholeness.

- Class Description: Hybrid Hatha Yoga will guide you through movements to develop strength, flexibility and an overall deeper connection between your body, mind and breath. This hybrid style of Hatha combines traditional and non-traditional postures with occasional fitness exercises to strengthen and open the body in different ways. Modifications and rest offered and welcome.

I caught a glimpse of My Plant one day, noticing how it had began to droop. I proceeded to do what any good plant mom would do - Watered & waited...no change. Moved to a sunnier spot...no change. Plucked the dried leaves...no change.

I was almost ready to give up. “Let nature take its course” I thought. Although, I could try one last thing...

Locating a larger pot & some fresh soil, I began removing my drooping plant from its original home. That’s when I realized something.
🌱
My Plant had simply outgrown its space. My Plant - though still alive - began to lose its ability to soak up the water, the sunlight, & all the external efforts I provided it with. My Plant was comfortable, but My Plant had so much more growing to do.

I peeled apart the tangled roots, nestled My Plant into its new space, topped it with fresh soil, water, & sat it near a window. Within days - My Plant began to come alive again. I could almost hear it say “Thank You for this new opportunity to grow.”

My Plant taught me that although it is a privilege to be content & comfortable - you are allowed & encouraged to want more for yourself. My Plant taught me that growth happens when you’ve exhausted all external efforts, & decide to step out of your comfort zone.

I hope My Plant teaches you the same.

I am 1 day post Appendectomy! If all goes well, I’m 6 weeks away from being able to move my body in a few of my favorite ways. I’m the meantime, I will be healing my body with love & kindness. I hope you’ll do the same. 🖤

Meet Lo! ☀️
Lauren (Lo) Childers found Yoga in college-while she was studying Health and Wellness Promotion as a way to deal with stress & stay active. That hobby turned into a regular at home practice as well as attending classes at some of MN’s finest & most fun studios. The desire to dive deeper into the “why” behind one’s practice, lead her through a 6 month Teacher Training journey where she became an RYT200 in December 2019.
For Lo, Yoga makes her feel whole & complete. She aspires to provide her students with their feeling of wholeness within each class she teaches. Outside of teaching Yoga, Lo loves spending time outdoors in her hammock or out on her paddleboard.
You can join Lo every Wednesday evening for a Gentle Flow practice at 7:30pm.

Do you know what I’ve come to realize through all of this? The connection we share as human beings-is all that matters.
Social status, likes on a post, material items, views on a Tik-Tok...etc. Do. Not. Matter.
The connection to each other, & the health of our planet matter most.
So take these precautions seriously, but fear not...We are all facing this unknown future, together-apart.
